The Lovelock Relays is an annual event organised by the Hill
City & University Harrier Club in honour of the late
great Jack Lovelock. New Zealand's Olympic Gold Medal winner
in the 1500m at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
The 2012 Lovelock Relays took place on Sat 5 May 2012 at
the University Oval starting. See Athletics

Caversham won the Senior Men's title. Hill City won the Senior
Women's title.
Leith picked up the minor trophies with its strong No. 1
Masters Men team winning comfortably. Its competitive No.
2 Master Men's team finished third. Leith also won the Master
Women's title with a fantastic team effort. Leith's Social
1 team won the Social and Mixed title. The children's teams
also had a good day on the park.
